Clarification on Source Code Sharing
Docusign Team, I wanted to confirm if there is an email ID where I can share the source code if required. We are fully live, and I can provide the live link if sharing the source code isn’t necessary.
I want to highlight that I’m hesitant to share private repositories but am happy to share the source code through an appropriate channel if required. Additionally, if your team needs to verify commit dates and the project's timeline, I can provide that information as well.
Please let me know the best way to proceed.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. According to the rules Section 4), you must "Provide a URL to the publicly visible code repository." I hope this answers your question. Best of luck!

Thank you for your response. I understand the requirement to provide a URL to a publicly visible code repository. However, my project spans across eight repositories, with some already public. The major components, which are critical to the product's scalability and success, are in private repositories.
As I aim to scale this product beyond the hackathon, exposing the entire source code publicly poses certain challenges.
I can, however, share specific parts, or perhaps provide access to the repositories via Devpost’s email, testing@devpost.com, which hackathon hosts can use to view the code securely.
Could you discuss this with your team to see if an alternative arrangement is possible? I’m happy to collaborate to meet the rules while protecting the integrity of the project.

Hi again,
Thank you for your feedback! The hackathon is about showcasing community built solutions and what is possible, while enabling judges access to the projects in a public repository for review and testing.
If you'd like to monetize your project with Docusign, there is an opportunity to become a partner and publish extension apps (https://developers.docusign.com/extension-apps/extension-apps-101/app-center/) to the App Center where your app could be monetized in the future.
If there's a concern about entrant rights, the rules (https://unlocked.devpost.com/rules) state:
"5. SUBMISSION RIGHTS
A. Entrant Rights: Subject to the licenses described below, any applicable intellectual property rights to a Submission will remain with the Entrant."
While we won't be able to make an exception, we hope this helps alleviate your concerns so you can continue with your submission.
Best of luck and we hope to see your entry!
